Issues following Partitioning instructions of DAppNode Installation Guide

When following these instructions, everything works fine until I get to

  1. Partition disk - Select disk to partition: [SCSIX (0,0,0) (sda) - …]

My USB drive is SCSIX (0,0,0) (sda). Is it correct for me to partition the installation USB drive? As I am fairly inexperienced with Debian setup / Linux partitioning, I followed the instructions and it failed with big errors. So I presume this step means for me to partition my SSD in my NUC?

Maybe the instructions need updating?

Just did the same and got stucked for a time until I reached more skilled linux support.

I chose the other option… and take care not to submit formatting usb SCSIX disk

Can you please clarify what ‘the other option’ is?
