I would like to highlight for the dappnode community the incredible advantage I discovered. As many of you know the Eth 2.0 test net had major issues a while back. This was because of an error in the prysm client. for us Dappnode users changing clients was as simple as changing a dropdown. Also… I’ll take this opportunity to explain WHY selecting a client less used can offer advantages. The ultimate reason being slashing. when ever you have a centralized problem like a client error that the majority of the network is using this causes an increase in the slashing penalty. The name of the game will be to minimize the risk for validators. If you have ever taken your validator offline while the network is running smoothly the penalty is minimal. By minimizing these centralized risks you can avoid the major penalties like the ones seen during the prysm client error.
