Dappnode cant connect to docker container, but has SUDO

Hey, Im connecting to my dappnode via keyboard and screen and logged into the default “dappnode” user.
But when I check the status of my dappnode with “dappnode_connect”
I get a bunch of:
unix:///var/run/docker.sock: Get http://%2Fvar%2Frun%2Fdocker.sock/v1.40/containers/DAppNodeCore-vpn.dnp.dappnode.eth/json: dial unix /var/run/docker.sock: connect: permission denied
errors.
But the dappnode user has sudo rights. Whats the issue here?
